Giving your villa the finishing touch
It can be a daunting task to design and furnish a villa from scratch but the interior design experts at Esprit Décor have worked with Royal Westmoreland clients since 2008 helping each transform their villas into dream homes.
Having furnished and styled both Joe Calzaghe’s and Wayne Rooney’s properties, Esprit can help put the wow factor into your furnishings and create a villa interior that suits your lifestyle and taste.
Platinum Life catches up with Esprit Décor Director Ricky Christian to ask about the services the firm provides….
Ricky said;
“We work one-on-one with clients to develop their own signature style. Our executive designer, Susanne Hoidal is proud to say that all interiors we create are bespoke. We offer complete interior design services, including furniture, accessories, lighting, art, rugs, bedding, and window treatments. The level of the designer’s involvement is completely up to the home-owner. In previous projects we have customized our level of service from furniture planning only, all the way to a complete turnkey product.
“We start working on projects early on in the construction process (six to 12 months from completion date) allowing ample time for planning, layout, and selections. We either meet the client in person or have a long telephone chat to discuss their overall design style and vision.
“We have also worked on refurbishments for Royal Westmoreland clients and enjoy working on these just as much as the new construction projects. In tropical climates we usually choose natural fabrics and fibres which perform very well in the environment and aim for an elegantly casual feel. Linen, cotton and sisal are examples of some of the natural materials used in upholstery fabrics and floor coverings, while “Sunbrella” fabrics are manufactured to withstand the outdoor elements.
Artwork and objects d’art are selected to reflect the beautiful island culture, colours and atmosphere. The open air terrace lifestyle is always an important focus for the property. Outdoor dining and lounge areas, along with poolside living, must complement the interior space.”
